Solar One - Liberia Solar Power Initiative
As the inaugural piece of a long term VRE (Variable Renewable Energy) project, Solar One is a pioneering renewable energy infrastructure project aimed at delivering clean, reliable, and sustainable power to Liberia.
Inspired by the success of the Garissa Solar Farm in Kenya, the LSPI will be a utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) facility designed to significantly improve energy access, support economic growth, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Liberia.
Sagecom - Telecommunications
Sagecom is a telecom startup aimed at addressing Liberia’s digital divide by adapting and building on Safaricom’s successful Kenyan model. By implementing mobile money services, applications, and 4G speeds, Sagecom will be a key player in Africa’s technology revolution.
The feasibility of entering the market is high, especially if phased over three years. A public-private partnership approach, with strong community engagement, will enhance success.
